LUCID Vision Labs GmbH, based in Ilsfeld, Germany, will present its latest camera technologies including the Triton2 EVS event-based camera and the Phoenix GigE Vision camera module at Control, held from May 6-9, 2025, in Stuttgart, Germany.
Triton2 EVS Event-Based 2.5GigE Camera
The new Triton2 EVS event-based 2.5GigE camera leverages the advanced IMX636 and IMX637 event-based vision sensors, developed in collaboration between Sony and PROPHESEE.
These sensors integrate Sony’s CMOS image sensor technology with PROPHESEE’s proprietary event-based Metavision® sensing technology, enabling individual pixels to trigger events based on luminance changes. Each event contains precise pixel coordinates and microsecond-resolution timestamps, offering unparalleled speed and low latency compared to traditional frame-based cameras. This technology enhances system efficiency while reducing power consumption in applications such as motion analysis, vibration monitoring, object tracking, optical flow, autonomous driving, and high-speed detection.
Phoenix Camera Module: Flexible Integration for OEMs
The Phoenix GigE PoE camera module stands out with its ultra-compact form factor, available in 24x24mm or 28x28mm, designed for seamless OEM integration. Its modular design offers extensive customization options, including multiple lens mounts, body orientations, and Ethernet interfaces, making it adaptable for diverse industrial applications.
At Control 2025, LUCID will showcase the dual extended-head Phoenix camera, an ideal solution for applications requiring synchronized imaging and enhanced flexibility. This camera transmits synchronized images from its dual 5.0 MP Sony IMX264 global shutter sensors, each with a resolution of 2448 x 2048 pixels. Its dual extended-head design is suitable for stereo vision systems, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), offering an expanded Field of View (FoV) and exceptional performance.
