Richmond, BC, Canada – May 3, 2023 – LUCID Vision Labs, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of unique and innovative industrial vision cameras, will be showcasing its latest GigE Vision cameras at Automatica from June 27-30, 2023 in Munich, Germany. Automatica is the leading exhibition for smart automation and robotics.

One of the product highlights in our booth will include the new Helios2 Wide Time-of-Flight camera. Helios2 Wide integrates Sony’s DepthSense™ IMX556PLR back-illuminated ToF image sensor paired with a wide-angle lens and four wide-angle 850nm VCSEL laser diodes, providing a 108° Field of View (FoV). The camera is suited for applications with a close working distance and large area of operation such as full-size palettizing.

In addition, LUCID will be demonstrating the new Atlas10 camera with Remote DMA (RDMA) which reliably streams 1.2 GB/s of data directly to main memory, bypassing the CPU and OS. This increases throughput, lowers latency, and eliminates CPU usage, which is required for reliable multi-10GigE camera applications. The Atlas10 camera will feature the Sony Pregius S 8.1 MP (IMX536) and the 24.5 MP (IMX530) global shutter CMOS sensors.

The new Triton2 camera featuring a 2.5GigE interface and the latest Sony Pregius S sensors will also be at display. Triton2 leverages LUCID’s trusted Factory Tough™ industrial platform to offer unprecedented performance in a cost-effective, compact, and uncompromised camera design. The adoption of the 2.5GigE (300 MB/s) interface enables higher bandwidth than 1GigE cameras without compromising on size, thermal management, or Power over Ethernet (PoE) support.
