NUTAI Case Study:
High Accuracy Drill Measurement
The aerospace manufacturing industry faces barriers to automation due to lack of accuracy, speed and repeatability of complex tasks such as drill measurement. Nutai has met this challenge by designing a machine vision system for the precise and reliable measurement of drills. Four LUCID Triton GigE cameras were integrated into the system, minimizing human operation, and allowing for highly accurate drills. For more details read Case Study.
In Production Triton models featuring Sony Pregius S sensors are now in series production and include the IMX540 (24.5 MP), IMX541 (20.4 MP), and IMX542 (16.2 MP) global shutter CMOS image sensors. Sony’s 4th Gen sensors increase resolutions within compact sensor sizes without sacrificing image quality, meaning Triton cameras can provide even higher resolution in a compact 29x29 mm size. New White Paper
The Factory Tough Camera
What makes a camera Factory Tough? Not all machine vision cameras are built to withstand tough industrial environments; only a camera that has met certain criteria and standards is truly ready for 24/7 operation in conditions like wide ranging temperatures, vibrating machinery, dust, moisture, and electromagnetic noise. Our latest white paper introduces you to the tests and standards that help you spot a camera for reliable industrial use. Read more.
