LUCID Receives two VSD Innovators Awards in 2025

Richmond, BC, Canada – May 12, 2025 – LUCID Vision Labs, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of industrial cameras, is pleased to announce its recognition at the 2025 VSD Innovators Awards, which celebrate outstanding innovation in machine vision. The annual awards honor companies and developers advancing the industry through impactful and innovative technologies.

Triton2 EVS Evenet-Based Vision CameraThis year, LUCID received two awards for its latest machine vision cameras. The Triton2 EVS, featuring event-based imaging technology, earned a Gold Award, while the Triton10 – 10GigE with RDMA received a Silver Award.

The Triton2 EVS camera combines Sony’s IMX636 and IMX637 CMOS image sensors with PROPHESEE’s event-based Metavision® sensing technology. Offering high-speed, low-latency vision performance, the 2.5GigE Triton2 EVS delivers enhanced productivity, accuracy, and versatility across a wide range of industrial applications.

Triton10 - 10GigE Camera with RDMAThe Triton10 is a compact, IP67-rated 10GigE camera designed for space-constrained environments. With dust and water protection, a 17-pin M12 GPIO, and reliable RDMA data transfer, it streams image data directly to memory, bypassing the CPU and OS to increase throughput, reduce latency, and minimize CPU load.

“It’s been another remarkable year of innovation for LUCID, and we’re thrilled to see two of our products recognized by the 2025 VSD Innovators Awards,” said Rod Barman, Founder and President at LUCID Vision Labs. “These awards highlight our commitment to advancing machine vision technology and delivering solutions that help our customers achieve their vision system goals.”
