Richmond, BC, Canada – June 10, 2022 – LUCID Vision Labs, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of unique and innovative industrial vision cameras, today announced that the high-resolution 47 MP Atlas10 camera has entered series production.
The 47 MP Atlas10 camera features Sony’s IMX492 rolling shutter CMOS image sensor offering 8240 x 5628 pixels resolution and 4/3” sensor size, running at 22.6 frames per second at 10-Bit ADC. It uses a TFL lens mount allowing for a better illumination on the edges of larger sensors. Atlas10 features Active Sensor Alignment which helps to maximize the optical performance of large format sensors and is ideal for vision applications that require a high level of camera accuracy.
“The 47 MP Atlas10 camera provides high sensitivity and excellent quantum efficiency (QE) at 85% in a compact camera size with a 10 Gigabit Ethernet interface and the convenience of Power over Ethernet,” says Rod Barman, President at LUCID Vision Labs. “It is a cost-efficient solution for applications that demand high resolution of 8K UHD and beyond, such as aerial imagery, AOI, 3D scanning, and more.”
All LUCID cameras conform to the GigE Vision 2.0 and GenICam3 standards and are supported by LUCID’s own Arena software development kit. The Arena SDK provides customers with easy access to the latest industry standards and software technology. The SDK supports Windows, Linux 64bit and Linux ARM operating systems, and C, C++, C# and Python programming languages.
