The camera&#8217;s capability of imaging on the short-wavelength infrared light spectrum opens a world of industrial applications with greater precision in fruit inspection and sorting, packaging, IR microscopy, semiconductor inspection, material sorting and more.<\/p>\n<p>The Atlas SWIR camera is equipped with integrated single-stage thermoelectric sensor cooling (TEC1) for superior image quality and extended operating temperature range. Its compact Factory Tough\u2122 design offers IP67 protection, Power over Ethernet (PoE+) and provides protection against shock, vibration, water, dust, and electromagnetic interferences.  It features Active Sensor Alignment for superior optical performance, a compact 60 x 60 mm size, M12 Ethernet and M8 general purpose I\/O connectors for a robust connection, industrial EMC immunity and a wide ambient temperature range of -20\u00b0C to 50\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re excited to introduce the Atlas SWIR IP67 camera and expand our imaging capabilities from the visible spectrum to SWIR wavelengths,\u201d says Rod Barman, President at LUCID Vision Labs. \u201cThe advances in performance and functionality of the Sony IMX990 and IMX991 sensors will further enhance a diverse range of applications such as inspection, identification, and measurement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Atlas is a GigE Vision and GenICam compliant camera capable of 1 Gbps data transfer rates and allows the use of standard CAT5e and CAT6 cables up to 100 meters. Atlas features Power over Ethernet (PoE) that simplifies integration and reduces cost.<\/p>\n<p>All LUCID cameras conform to the GigE Vision 2.0 and GenICam3 standards and are supported by LUCID\u2019s own Arena software development kit. The Arena SDK provides customers with easy access to the latest industry standards and software technology.
